Citrus Finance works with you to find the best loan using our access to a range of products through the many lenders we are accredited with. Our aim and our legal 'responsible lending' obligation is to ensure you are not placed into a loan that is unsuitable for you. We simplify the process, analyse your situation and compile a short list of appropriate loan products. Why use a mortgage broker? As mortgage brokers we can be seen as loan experts. Lending is all we do and can give you professional advice to match your needs with a suitable lending solution. Given that a loan/mortgage is probably the biggest expense you will ever have, it pays to get professional assistance and advice. We have access to a broad range of products and are accredited with many lenders to offer their products. We can save you time, effort and most likely money in selecting a suitable home or commercial loan. We can help you to avoid taking out a loan you might later regret and plan for a better mortgage. Have a look at this article from Domain for some more information: Why it pays to use a mortgage broker when choosing a home loan - Domain What are your brokerage fees? We often do not charge a fee for advice and our service, if we do we always tell you this upfront so there are no nasty surprises. What commission do you receive? We earn a commission from the various lenders and this commission is normally a percentage value of the loan. Generally the lenders we work with are very similar in their commission percentages and we make it a point to never focus on our payment but instead work hard to make sure you are happy so you want to continue using our services again and again. What are all the fees that I will have to pay? When we calculate the loan value we show you any fees you may be expected to pay such as Stamp Duty and loan establishment fees and ensure you either have the funds to pay these fees or include these fees in the loan value. How many lenders do you have access to? Each broker is accredited with the lenders they work with and they have to ensure they continue their professional learning as an ongoing basis. Our brokers are recognised by the lenders they are accredited with as having a strong level of knowledge of that lender to ensure they are able to advise appropriately on their products.
